Product Review: Bose Micro Soundlink

bose soundlink

My latest and greatest piece of Bose tech is just short of magnificent. I don’t really consider myself a true Bose audiophile, but I do appreciate crisp clear range with bass to shake wall portraits askew. I’m referring to my Bose Companion 5 multimedia system in regards to the wall shaking….not these tiny little cherubs of sound that make up the Micro SoundLink. These bad boys are very nice however. The clarity they project, the mid ranges, and yes just enough thump to make you wonder what kinda of mystical voodoo are the people at Bose casting.

Picnic proof: Check. Pairing two Soundlinks into party mode will have you mulling over the idea of whether or not “mobile DJ” is a viable source of income. You’ll need to download the Bose Connect app to access this feature and a few other bells and whistles.

Office environment: Smooth jazz, elevator music, soothing tones to prevent you from neck tie choking your co-workers. You could walk around with this thing in your pocket playing music at work but that would be weird. Just leave it on your desk, it sounds great there.

I forgot to mention, the damn thing is waterproof. I mean like fall in the pool waterproof. I wouldn’t recommend snorkeling with it, but you get the picture right? All in all the Bose Micro SoundLink is pretty rugged. The bluetooth syncs up to my Iphone X like a boss, no complaints there. And the sound….

For the people who actually like the outdoors, and for the people who are mobile.

Bose does not fail.
